A North Shore clinic that does things properly
Dr Kang runs Rehab Studio, an acupuncture, Chinese medicine and rehabilitation clinic on Auckland's North Shore. It is the kind of practice that takes the details seriously: every practitioner is registered with the Chinese Medicine Council of New Zealand under the HPCA Act 2003, treatment is ACC funded, and consultations run in English, Mandarin and Japanese so the whole community can be seen properly. The clinic sits at 4.9 stars on Google.
The clinical side was never the problem. The website was.
The website was the one part that fought back
Like a lot of small clinics, Rehab Studio started on WordPress. On paper that sounds fine. In practice, every small change turned into a chore. Updating a service, adjusting the hours, adding a condition the clinic treats, all of it meant logging into a dashboard, clicking through an editor, and hoping a plugin had not broken something since last time. The site itself was heavier and slower than it needed to be.
For a clinician who would rather be treating patients than fighting a content editor, that friction has a cost. The site stops reflecting the real practice, because keeping it current is more effort than it is worth.
What changed
BestAI rebuilt Rehab Studio as a static site, and two things changed at once.
First, speed and quality. The pages are pre-built and served straight from a fast global network, so the site loads quickly and feels solid on a phone in the car park or a desktop at reception.
Second, and this is the part Dr Kang likes most, the way he edits it. Instead of the WordPress dashboard, he now updates the content through the AI tool he already runs on his own computer. He describes the change he wants in plain language, the tool makes the edit, and the site updates. No dashboard to log into, no plugins to keep alive.
How We Set This Up
A static site is just pre-built pages. There is no database doing slow work on every visit, which is why it loads fast and there is very little that can break.
The editing workflow is the bridge we build for each owner. Instead of a CMS, all of the site's wording lives in one simple file in the project, so it is easy to find and change. We connect that project to the AI tool Dr Kang already uses and leave a short set of ground rules in it, so the tool edits the right place safely. From there he can say, in plain English or Chinese, what he wants changed, and the tool makes the edit and publishes. No dashboard, no plugins, and nothing for him to learn. We set up and document that bridge so it keeps working long after launch.
The result
Rehab Studio now has a site that is fast, professional, and genuinely easy for its owner to keep current. The trust signals that matter for a healthcare practice, the CMCNZ registration, ACC funding and the trilingual service, are front and centre, and the clinic has been happy with the result.
You do not have to take our word for it. The site is live at rehabstudio.co.nz, and Dr Kang is a real BestAI client.
